Founder’s Vision
I Am Not Building a Farm. I Am Building a Model.
I am building FERVIA because I believe Africa’s agricultural potential should create far more value for the people, businesses, and communities where that value begins. In Ogun State, we have land, farmers, crops, agricultural resources, markets, and enormous human potential. Yet too much of our agriculture remains concentrated at the production and raw commodity stage.
Farmers produce. Others process. Others manufacture. Others capture greater value. I believe we can change that.
FERVIA is my vision for building an agricultural system that moves from production to transformation, from trading to manufacturing, and from waste to value.

From Ogun State to the World
I am starting in Ogun State because I believe meaningful transformation can begin locally and grow globally.
FERVIA is being built around a connected agricultural ecosystem that brings together farming, agro trading, processing, product development, markets, fertilizer and agricultural inputs, and circular resource recovery.
We will grow selected agricultural resources ourselves, work with farmers and producers, source and trade agricultural commodities, and progressively develop our own processing and manufacturing capabilities.
Our agricultural foundation includes cassava, rice, maize, sorghum, and cowpea, with additional opportunities in sweet potato, moringa, ginger, hibiscus, and turmeric. We are also exploring apiculture and honey production as part of our ecosystem.
We grow. We trade. We process. We create. We recover. We scale.

Agriculture Must Create More Value
My vision for FERVIA is to capture more value from the agricultural resources that already exist around us.
Cassava can move beyond the farm into flour, starch, glucose, ethanol, and other potential applications. Rice can become a resource within our biomass and energy sector. Maize, sorghum, and cowpea can support food, nutrition, and feed applications.
Selected resources such as moringa, ginger, hibiscus, turmeric, and honey can create opportunities across food, beverages, nutrition, and other value added applications.
The objective is not to grow everything. The objective is to build the systems that allow agricultural resources to create greater value.

Nothing Is Waste
I also believe agriculture should not be built around a linear model where resources are produced, used, and discarded.
FERVIA is developing a circular approach. Selected agricultural and agro processing residues such as rice husks, sawdust, and palm kernel shells can become resources for biomass and energy applications. Cassava peels can follow a separate pathway into animal feed applications.
We are also developing opportunities to transform suitable recovered resources into organic fertilizers, soil health inputs, biochar, and other circular agricultural applications.
What is left behind by one process can become a resource for another. This is how I envision agriculture working as a connected system rather than a collection of disconnected activities.

Building Opportunity for Women and Young People
There is another part of my vision that matters deeply to me.
People must be at the centre of the agricultural value chain. Women and young people should have opportunities to participate not only in production, but across aggregation, trading, processing, supply, entrepreneurship, technical work, and leadership.
FERVIA is being built to create pathways for greater economic participation by connecting people to organised agricultural and industrial systems. I want to see women and young people become producers, entrepreneurs, suppliers, processors, professionals, and leaders within the agricultural economy.
Because agricultural transformation is not only about what we produce. It is about who gets to participate in the value we create.

Building for Food, Industry & the Future
My vision for FERVIA is not limited to one crop, one product, or one market.
I WANT TO BUILD A COMPANY OPERATING ACROSS INTERCONNECTED OPPORTUNITIES IN:
We will build these capabilities progressively, based on real markets, strong partnerships, sound economics, appropriate technology, research, and execution. I do not believe in trying to build everything at once. I believe in building something that works, learning from it, strengthening it, and then scaling it.

My Long-Term Vision
I want FERVIA to become an African agro industrial platform that connects farmers to markets, raw materials to products, agricultural production to industry, and agricultural residues to new value.
I want more of the value created from Africa’s agricultural resources to be developed within Africa. I want to see agricultural communities connected to modern markets. I want African raw materials transformed into African products that compete locally and globally. And I want FERVIA to demonstrate that agriculture can be more than farming.
It can be food. It can be industry. It can be energy. It can be trade. It can be innovation. It can be opportunity.
This is the FERVIA I am building.
